The Plant Family History Group - Official Journal

Roots & Branches
The official journal of the Plant Family History Group is called Roots and Branches. Full text versions of both series 1 and 2 are available below.
  • Series 1 was published from 1990 to 2007 on a twice yearly basis by W Keith Plant and it contains articles that were provided by members of the Group.
  • Series 2 was produced similarly by Peter Johnson between 2010 and 2014.

Series 1 was initialy made available on paper to paid up members and various libraries but, by 2007, emphasis was changing increasingly towards communication by email and this website. Keith relinquished the production of Series 1 in 2007, though Peter Johnson restarted a slightly less formal Series 2 of the Journal in 2010, not least for the benefit of those with less access to IT.

Some advances have been made over the timescale since the journal issues were published, concerning in particular..

Some more recent additions...
